Signing of Memorandum of understanding with the «Meteorology»

The Presidency of Meteorology and Environment represented in the General President Prince Turki bin Nasser, and King Abdulaziz University, represented in its presedent Dr. Osama Bin Sadiq Tayeb signed a joint Memorandum of understanding.

Dr. Osama Tayeb stated that the memorandum aims to provide support, scientific assistance and the required facilities encourage conducting research projects, technical consulting, and implementation of training programs. It also aims to activate the cooperation process concerning practical training for university students including summer training; and supporting and guiding some of the selected research projects of graduate students, so they contribute in solving the various environmental issues facing the Saudi society, in addition to participating in the implementation of the academic activities including workshops, training programs, short courses, scientific lectures, and other activities which enhance the objectives mentioned above.
