KAU and “Meteorology” signed Memorandum of Understanding

Prince Turki bin Nasser bin Abdul Aziz, General President of the Meteorology and Environmental Protection and the Director of KAU Prof. Osama Bin Sadiq Tayeb Signed yesterday a joint Memorandum of Understading between them on Tuesday. The memo brought to promote a joint cooperation between Center of Excellence in Environmental Studies, King Abdul Aziz University and the General Presidency of Meteorology and Environment Protection represented by the Excellence Center in the unity of Prince Turki of Science and Technology.

The president of the university estated that this memo aims to provide the scientific support and all the facilities to encourage conducting research projects and provide technical consultancy and implement training programs also aims to activate the process of cooperation on practical training for university students including summer training, supporting and guiding some of research projects selected for graduate students and undergraduates to contribute to the solution of various environmental issues affecting the Saudi society in addition to participating in the implementation of academic activities including workshops and training programs, short courses and scientific lectures and other activities which would enhance the objectives mentioned above.
