“ together toward more beautiful environmental university…our college cleanliness is our responsibilities”

Community Service and Training Unit of the Center of Excellence in Environmental Studies (CEES) in cooperation with Childhood Studies Department for research method course in early childhood and guide and direct child course under the supervision of Dr. Naseema Mustafa Al.khaldi and Dr. Widad Abdelsalam Al.beshiti held a volunteering campaign titled: “ together toward more beautiful environmental university…our college cleanliness is our responsibilities”. The event was held on Wednesday 21/01/1434 AH – 05/12/2012 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Home Economic College- campus (43), on the occasion of the international cleaning day. The campaign lasted for five days, the first day started with an word delivered by the head of the Community Service and Training unit, Dr. Inas Soroor, included a definition of the unit and its activities, followed by introductory word about the international cleaning day and a definition of the campaign and its activities. The campaign program included an interactive activities with the students focusing on decorating the Home Economic building by planting and distributing seedlings inside and outside the building and looking after them throughout the semester.
