Meteorology agency & KAU sign A memorandum of understanding in science and technology

Jeddah - Abdullah, Damas - Thursday, 3 Sha’ban 1431 H

His Royal Highness Prince Turki bin Nasser bin AbdulAziz, General President of the Meteorology and Environmental Protection Agency and Professor Dr. Osama Tayeb, President of King AbdulAziz University yesterday signed a memorandum of understanding between the Centre of Excellence in Prince Turki Unit of Science and Technology, at the General Presidency of Meteorology and Environment Protection Agency, and the Center of Excellence in Environmental Studies at King AbdulAziz University.

This memorandum aims to encourage a joint cooperation between the two parties in scientific research, technical support , training programs and technical consultancy in environmental studies. Moreover, MoU included practical summer training for students and funding some selected research projects of graduate and undergraduate students. The period of this memo is 36 months starting from (01/08/1431), (3/07/2010). and it is a subject to periodic review on the semi-annual basis during the validity period by mutual agreement.
