Abstract : This study investigates one of the leading lights in Islam during the second Abbasid era who is the Hadith expert Muhammad bin Ibrahim bin Almonther Alnesabory (242 AH – 318 AH) and his book (Alawsat from Sunan and Agreements and Disagreements). The goal of the study is to highlight Abo Almonther’s efforts in investigating Hadiths and his methodology in the investigation. The study is divided into an introduction and two chapters. The first of which is theoretical and looks into his biography, his environment and surroundings, and his approach, along with an introduction to his book Alawsat. The second chapter is practical and meticulously analyzes the Hadiths he mentioned in his book from Pre-order Chapter (Sections Mentioning that Pre-Order is Not Acceptable in Predefined Dates from a Certain Property or Farming) to Enforcement Chapter, the last in the book. This was achieved by studying Abo Almonther’s sources and attributes, studying the biographies of his sources, investigating his Hadiths from the nine book (if not available then from famous Sunni sources), studying other experts’ opinions on these Hadiths, and explaining weird Hadiths which are 149 in total. The methodological approach followed is an analytical investigation by investigating these Hadiths and accounting for Abo Almonther’s evulations then carefully studying these Hadiths. The study reveals that Alawsat by Abo Almonther is among the most significant Hadith and Theology sources. Abo Almonther is a Shafi School expert in Hadith and an Islamic jurist. He was a hard-working individual not following any herd yet not bigoted towards his sect. He mentioned the Hadiths according to his attributes in which his meticulous investigation and cleverness becomes apparent. Among the recommendations are paying more attention to Abo Almonther’s publications ‏since many of them are buried treasures, as well as paying attention to studying suspended antiquities as judged by him in his Alawsat book to be potential topics for PhD and MA projects.
