Abstract
:
): The current research aims to try to identify the method used in the process of educational supervision of the Home Economics at the stages of intermediate and secondary schools within the public schools and community for girls from the viewpoint of the parameters in the city of Jeddah, as well as to identify whether there are significant differences between the various levels of education middle and high , the type of educational institutions (private and government) in the methods of educational supervision. Using an open questionnaire on the methods of educational supervision and another on evaluating these methods to Home Economics and a researcher who has designed and applied research on a sample which consisted of a number (45) teacher home economist and civil government schools (intermediate and secondary), the researcher was able to extract the most important results after applying Test (Levin) on the results of the questionnaire, which resulted in the existence of special methods to oversee the educational material identified in the home economics classroom visits, meetings, lessons, demonstrations and research, and workshops. The results showed no statistically significant differences among the middle grades methods of supervision between the type of educational institution as well as her educational level. The most important, as recommended by the study: To ensure the diversity of methods of supervision and educational activities for Home Economics. Attention to the manner in research because of its effective role in the development of teaching and educational performance of students
