Abstract
:
The study aims to recognize the effectiveness of the recommended and develop basic skills of apparel industry through the recommended program for developing skills in "apparel industry" curriculum. The study includes collective tests skill tests, observation cads and scales for students, product evaluation. The recommended program is applied to an experimental group sample including (45) students from Domestic Economy and technical education faculty in Jeddah in comparison to a collective group sample the study the current curriculum which consists of (45) students. The results are manipulated statistically using "T Test" The results indicate increasing in the learning level and skillful performance by the experiment group after learning through the recommended program. This confirms the effectiveness of the recommending program in learning the cognitive and skill sides for "apparel industry foundation". According to the results, the researcher recommend to benefit from the current research output, the necessity of embodying the recommended program as a part of "apparel industry foundation" curriculum in Domestic Economy and technical education faculty in Jeddah, preparing another program for all apparel industry stages and preparing training programs for textile and apparel departments to work on product lines.
